If Lin Gets Fouled and Nobody Calls It, Is it A Foul?

As the NBA regular season winds down, Charlotte Hornets Jeremy Lin made the news again, and this time, it’s not for his erratic hair style. On April 5, 2016, a member of the Reddit’s NBA sub-reddit community cut together a video titled “Jeremy Lin: Too Flagrant Not to Call.” The video records a play involving Lin and Clipper’s Wesley Johnson, who blocked Lin as he drove up and court and hit him right on the nose, resulting in a nosebleed.  Other examples in the video includes a foul by…

An Ha

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I’ve never actually experienced being a minority until I came to Davidson where there was only one other Vietnamese American in my year (shout out to Kaylie). Over these past few years, I’ve learned a phentermine weight loss lot, but even more importantly, I’ve learned I don’t know a lot. Though Davidson doesn’t offer classes such as this one yet, Davidson has showed me the skills I need to research and learn independently, which brings me to this class.

Within that gap year, I’ll be finishing up some…

Hong Kong – The Televised Revolution Nobody is Watching

Skeptics roll their eyes and dismisses the notion that fish balls are worth fighting over. Yet, a couple thousand miles across the Pacific Ocean, the Hong Kong people are up in arms and on the street, facing down…
